Dr. Tunde Olatunji

Dr. Tunde Olatunji is a practicing chiropractor and storyteller who draws on a rich lineage of healers. Born in Nigeria and raised in the United States, he grew up navigating two cultures and discovering the deep roots of his family history. That journey inspired him to ensure his own children would grow up with a strong sense of identity and belonging.

When his son Mathias began asking questions about their blended heritage, Tunde explained their family story through the metaphor of an oak tree. The moment sparked the idea for his debut children’s book, Mathias and the Acorn, published by Maudlin Pond Press. This interactive book invites families to fill in their own family tree and record fun facts about relatives, helping children understand the connections that shape them.

Tunde lives in the United States with his wife and their children, Mathias and his younger sibling. Through his work and writing, he continues to share stories that nurture family bonds and celebrate heritage.
